WWVHO - PICKLEBALL COURTS AND NETS

Hello Willow Wood Village Residents,

If you play pickleball, please note two items:

1. The community uses an app called Team Reach that is used to sign up to reserve each of the two pickleball courts and you can also reserve the Tennis Court using the Team Reach app. Please contact Lois Marotta at willowwoodlois@gmail.com for more information.

2. If you use the courts, it is important that you leave the nets exactly the way you found them.

This means:

* The net for court 1 is tied to the side of the court

* The net for court 2 is tucked into the tennis net with the top of the pickleball net linked under the tennis net and the bottom stand of the pickleball net underneath the tennis net.

Failure to return the nets to the correct position will result in the nets tearing/breaking and becoming unusable. Please see attached picture for example of what happens when the nets are not put away correctly.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any board member.

Thank you,

Willow Wood Village Board of Directors

Creek Erosion Project

This project is almost complete.  The final grading was done and new sod will be installed in the next few days. Temporary sprinklers have been installed to water the sod.

New Cabana Floor and Paint

A group of volunteers recently painted the cabana and it looks fantastic!

A new floor was installed and completed on March 14th.  It consists of Moisture Vapor Barrier Epoxy Basecoat - Full Flake Broadcast - Polyaspartic Top Coat.

There are also new umbrellas at the pool that will provide shade on those hot, sunny days.

New Somerset Signs

The Board is happy to report that new signs were installed indicating Somerset Circle North and South.

Broken Sewer Cover

During the dumping of soil for the  erosion creek project, a dump truck ran over a sewer cover and broke it.  We are happy to report that the company doing the project has taken responsibility and will cover the cost of replacing the sewer cover.

New Pool Maintenance Company

As of January 1, 2025, we have a new company maintaining our pool. They are doing a great job and the pool has never looked better.

Willow Wood Village Website

This is a friendly reminder that our website at www.willowwoodvillage.com is packed full of useful information.  You can find meeting minutes, ARC request forms, Governing Documents, Sales and leasing information, Pool Fob request form, Violation Reporting form, just to name a few.  If you haven't checked it out yet, please do.  You will be pleasantly surprised how useful it is.
